1, Ordering and paying online

You can place an order online via this website, or if you are a company (nursing home or care home) and wish to place a large order you can do so by telephone. If you have a query regarding a product then you can enquire about it via email or telephone.

  • Payments can be made using all major credit and debit cards (and PayPal) within this websites secure payment system.

  • All orders will be generally processed by the end of the working day if made before noon, or the next day, not including weekends.

  • Orders from outside the UK mainland will not be processed through this website, please call us.

  • All personal information collected during ordering is for the purpose of processing a customer order and is not passed to any third party.

  • Please note that no products will be dispatched until paid for in full (including any delivery costs).

2, VAT relief

UK citizens who are sick or disabled, and who wish to buy our products for personal use, or charities who buy products for a disabled person for their own personal/use, may be eligible for VAT Relief.

To quality for VAT relief you must ensure that the VAT Relief checkboxes are selected at checkout, along with stating the precise medical condition. Assuming you meet the criteria, VAT will not be added (unless a particular product has compulsory VAT).

Orders that are processed without having ticked the exemption box will include the standard VAT charge.

If you make a declaration about your medical VAT relief which is challenged by the VAT authorities, we will be forced to ask you for the money and may take legal action to recover it. False VAT relief declaration is an offence. You cannot get VAT relief simply because you are old or sick or disabled, you must apply to the Government for VAT relief.

Who is eligible for VAT relief? 

To be eligible for VAT relief the government says you have to fit the following criteria, 

Charities – simply provide your charity number. 

A person is ‘chronically sick or disabled’ if he/she is a person:

with a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon his/her ability to carry out everyday activities;

with a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes, COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, etc or Who is terminally ill.

Important Note: It does NOT include a frail elderly person who is otherwise able-bodied or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.

3, Returns

UK law allows most goods to be returned within 7 days. We allow you up to 14 days to discover that the item bought was the wrong item. If you notify us within a reasonable time we will accept back the item and fully refund you (less delivery or postage charges).

You should attempt to call us or email us as soon as you realise that you have bought the wrong product, or that the product is damaged or simply not suitable as described.

You will need to return the item to us in the original packaging. If that packaging is missing or damaged then we reserve the right to charge you up to £60 to replace the packaging.

If an item bought is faulty, or substantially not as we described it, we may accept it back after 14 days. Please call as or email us to discuss the item.


4, Guarantees and warranties

When buying some products, such as mobility scooters, they will have a manufacturer’s warranty, typically for 12 months after purchase. In many cases you will need to fill out a warranty card and post it off to the manufacturer.

If you item fails within the warranty period, first contact the manufacturer, the details of which would have been supplied with the original item. We may be able to assist and advise, but you should not attempt to send the item back to us, but to call or email us first.

If you have damaged the item, or made modifications, then the manufacturer may not honour the warranty.  


5, Product descriptions

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out any additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees. 

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order acceptance policy.


6, Pricing information

The prices shown on this website or displayed in our literature are our sales own prices, and we do not guarantee to beat the prices of rivals nor be lower priced. If you buy an item and later find it cheaper elsewhere we will not refund you the item or the difference. The price for the product is clearly displayed for the purchaser to see prior to buying.

We may offer a bulk discount or customer discount at our discretion, but we do not guarantee such facilities. If you wish to buy in bulk, please email us or call us. Discount rates given to one customer are not available to other customers, nor are discounts implied or offered to all customers.

From time to time some items may be sold off under a sale, or end-of-stock clearance. First come first served, and we will not sell additional items at the offer discounted price when the stock has been sold. If you see an item under a sale offer price, do not assume that the same price will be available again in the future. We reserve the right to discontinue any product line or individual item without prior warning or notice.

To provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other Websites or resources for you to access at your sole discretion. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked Website we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not review or endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) the privacy practices of such websites, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use to which others make of these websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services available on such external websites or resources.

8, Our Rights

We reserve the right to:

(i) Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website
(ii) Change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed.

9, Refusal Of Transaction

We reserve the right to withdraw any Products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. 

To be eligible to purchase Products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:
